Open to work

What I’m looking for next.

I’m actively interviewing for senior or lead Product Designer roles, starting August 2026. The shape I’m looking for: profitable, remote-first SaaS, design taken seriously as a partner discipline, and a product that already has paying customers and the runway to invest in getting the surface right.

Specialty fit: growth, onboarding, Human-AI interaction. Most recent shipped work: Salsify’s Angie, an AI quality reviewer for Kroger product content. The portfolio chat on the homepage is the fastest way to get the rest, including how I lead, how I partner with PM and engineering, and what I’ve learned shipping AI features.

Based in Porto (CET / WET). Eight-plus years across US and EMEA, so the timezone juggling is solved. Founder-energy designer in execution mode: direct, opinionated, and allergic to LinkedIn-speak.

What I’m optimising for

  • Profitable, remote-first SaaS where design has a seat at the strategy table.
  • Senior or lead scope. I’m happy to mentor, scale a small design team, or go deeper as an IC.
  • Growth, onboarding, or Human-AI work. AI literacy is a hard requirement; I won’t lead it without it.
  • Teams that write the principles down and counter-sign them. Long-term thinking is the multiplier.

What I’d say no to

  • Roles where design is a downstream service function: shipping pixels for someone else’s thinking.
  • AI-washing. If the team isn’t serious about Human-AI design, I’m the wrong fit.
  • Take-homes over five hours, or portfolio reviews with twelve people on the call. That’s a signal about how the team makes decisions.
